A PRAYER FOR WHEN I FEEL WEAK

Lord, in my moments of weakness, give me your grace. When I am tired and weary, give me your strength. When my thoughts swirl with questions and fears, quiet them with your voice. When I am feeling battered by the storm around me, hold me close to your heart. When my patience is short and my words are sharp, soften my heart and my tongue.

May your presence, which is always around me, be felt ever so closely. May I not be weighed down, but rather, lift my head as I fix my gaze on you. May your Word revive me and your Spirit restore joy to my heart. May my heart and lips sing your praise as I remember all that you have done. May gratitude and peace mark my days as you fill me with your hope.

Thank you for being the God of hope. Fill me with joy and peace in believing so that by the power of the Holy Spirit, I may abound in hope.
